“Dog Lessons” Takes Second Place!

Our dogs (and I) are thrilled that "Dog Lessons: Learning the Important Stuff from Our Best Friends" took second place in the Santa Fe Reporters' 2024 "Best of Santa Fe" under the category of "Best New Book by a New Mexico Author." Anne Hillerman took first place with her new book, "The Way of the Bear." We bow down.

Having grown up in Minnesota, a modest state, the second place feels right. Our dogs are just a little disappointed that a bag of treats didn't come with the award. They are very practical companions. Thank you so much to everyone who voted for Dog Lessons!
